My journey with flowers began in 2000 at a work interest group, blossoming into a lifelong passion for floral design. What started as a hobby quickly turned into an exploration of techniques and skills, leading me to earn my teaching certificate.
In 2008, I had the thrilling opportunity to attend the American Institute of Floral Designers (AIFD) evaluation session in Chicago. Out of over 140 participants from around the globe, I was honored to be among the 20+ individuals invited to join AIFD. Becoming an accredited member in 2009 marked a pivotal moment in my career, allowing me to share my love for floral art with others as a dedicated instructor.
In 2018, I furthered my expertise by becoming a Certified Floral Evaluator/Judge, enriching my ability to guide aspiring designers. In 2023, I had the privilege of supporting Dr. Solomon as an assistant in the prestigious FTD Interflora World Cup Competition, an experience that truly inspired me.
I was thrilled to showcase my work at the RHS Chelsea Flower Show in 2024, where I was awarded a silver medal for my artistic floral piece, "Opera Splendor: A Floral Ode." Each petal and stem tells a story, and I am passionate about helping others discover the beauty and creativity that floral design can bring to their lives.
