My very first encounter with flowers was way back when I was a kid. 

My mom, a flower lover, who taught me how to share the joy with others via sending flowers.  She used to buy red roses and baby breath the day before Valentine’s Day.  And then I will deliver these flower arrangements to my teachers on Valentine’s Day. 

I have absolutely no idea how on earth she would choose this occasion over others.  Nevertheless, I just did what she said. My teachers would perhaps forget my name but they would always remember this “special”student. 

My connection with flowers was developed since then.

 

我初次接觸花藝是從小學開始的。

母親是個愛花之人， 也想將收花這份快樂分享出去。 她很喜歡插花。 每年的情人節前一天，她都會到花墟購買紅色玫瑰和白色滿天星，然後叫我帶回學校送給老師，當作感謝她們的小禮物。 

其實我也不明白，她是如何選擇情人節這個良辰吉日。 反正當時年紀還小，對這個節日沒有什麼大的感受。 送就送吧。 只知道，很多年後，老師們就算記不起我的名字，但是一定記得這位「特別」的學生。 

我與「花」的緣份就從這裏開始
